The history of pigments in dialogue with the colors of the garden's new belvedere, titled "Gianni's Promontory," and the extemporaneous execution of a small fresco work, using the ancient technique, by David Mayernik - currently in residence at the Study Center.

David Mayernik, Bogliasco Fellow 2022 in Architecture, is an award-winning architect, an artist, author, and professor. A Fellow of the American Academy in Rome and the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce (RSA), he studied fresco with renowned restorer Leonetto Tintori, and has painted frescoes at the American Academy in Rome, the church of S. Cresci in Valcava (Mugello), and the buildings he has designed at TASIS Switzerland.
