People die leaving boxes, bags, drawers full of objects, clothes, books, diaries, photos: “messages” that are often thrown in the garbage without being “read”. Paola Romoli Venturi collects these objects and passes them through the press with the embossing technique. She then dismembers them, transforming them into material to create avatar sculptures or simply reusing them in search of the messages they contain. The landscape of Bogliasco is the set of the SECOND LIFE performative action documented through video clips.
