Lydia Bunk

Lydia Bunk will work on a theater production based on Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen’s play, Peer Gynt, which tells the story of an outsider's escape from the world and his manic and life-hungry search for his identity. The play was written at the end of the 19th century but is transferable to the search for meaning of modern mankind. Peer's life motto, "Be yourself" – the mania for self-realization – leads to the essential question: what remains at the end of life? Bunk’s play will premiere in Germany in the fall of 2022.
