Choreographer – Greece
Iris Karayan will continue developing her recent work titled Unauthorised. She will direct her research towards a deeper investigation of the tools and practices she applies while copying, re-framing and mutating found movement material. Exploring the question of how the body is performed and seen, she will create work constructing choreographic scores that examine the relations between form and content, movement and narrative, address and performativity.

Iris Karayan intende continuare a lavorare al suo ultimo progetto Unauthorised. La sua ricerca si concentrerà sull’osservazione più approfondita degli strumenti e delle pratiche da lei utilizzati nel riprodurre, ricontestualizzare e modificare i movimenti che via via scopre. La coreografia che ne scaturirà intende esaminare la relazione tra forma e contenuto, movimento e racconto, parlato (impostazione) e performatività, cercando di comprendere come viene “performato" e visto il corpo.
