Eternal Return is a visual meditation and examination of contemporary science related to ocean mining and mapping. The film will be set 10,000 years from now, but looking from the future into the past. Looking underwater to the Ocean Basin from a future alien archeology perspective – when humans will be extinct and the landscape will be seen as a body with architecture of oil rigs and mines as the only human artifacts left– Škarnulytė will reconstruct the mythologies and beliefs of the past.
