Daniele Genadry

Daniele Genadry will work on a series of drawings, paintings, and texts that reflect on the limits of seeing while examining notions of speed and center. Her project will eventually take the form of an artist book and expands on her current body of work, Slow Light, which proposes light as both a conveyer of visibility and a blinder. It considers how our perceptions of (landscape) images and time intersect and create complex readings of place.

Daniele Genadry si dedicherà ad una serie di disegni, dipinti e testi ove si riflettono i limiti della visione mentre si esplora la nozione di velocità e quella di centro. Il suo progetto potrebbe diventare un libro d’artista ed accrescere il suo attuale corpo di opere, Slow Light, in cui lei descrive la luce sia come un mezzo che consente di vedere meglio, ma anche come accecante. Il progetto prende in considerazione come le nostre percezioni delle immagini (il paesaggio) e del tempo si intersechino e creino una lettura complessa dei luoghi.
