Christopher Stark

Stark will be working on two projects: a piano quintet for pianist Xak Bjerken and the Ulysses Quartet, and his chamber opera, From the Field, which depicts the work of American photographer Dorothea Lange and links it with today’s climate crisis as well as John Wesley Powell’s 19th-century warning about water usage in the American West.
