BF News Summer 2009

A Letter from the President

Jim
Harrison w/ puppyOs you can see, I have some good news to announce. On May 13, 2009 Alegro and Zerlina, our resident canine staff members at the Liguria Study Center, became the proud parents of ten adorable Golden Retriever puppies! The entire new family is now here together at Villa dei Pini and causing quite a ruckus. We look forward to having all twelve of them with us through the month of August at which point the puppies will be adopted by eager local families.

The purpose of this special summer issue of BF News is to express heartfelt gratitude to you, our generous donors and friends, without whom our work would simply not be possible. It is gratifying to know that so many of you share our belief in fostering the vital gifts of artists and humanists whose creativity and scholarship help shape our world in countless ways. And it is on their behalf, in particular, that I offer my sincere thanks.

Now, more than ever, your support is vital to the future of the Bogliasco Foundation. Should you wish to make a gift to the Foundation today, you may do so by clicking here. Please know that a gift, in any amount, is both needed and deeply appreciated.

Warm regards for a pleasant summer season,

James S.
Harrison

The Bogliasco Foundation is deeply grateful to Gianni Bruno who has generously made available to our Fellows a portable professional wood dance floor for one of the studios. His contribution will allow the Foundation to offer choreographers an ideal space in which to work.
