Sandro Del Rosario's film "Lo Sguardo Italiano" awarded at festivals
The experimental animated film "Lo Sguardo Italiano" (The Italian Gaze), created with thousands of hand painted images over eleven years and supported by Del Rosario's two fellowships at the Bogliasco Foundation in 2005 and 2007, was awarded a special mention at the 2017 Imaginaria International Animation Festival (Conversano, Bari, Italy), and Best of Festival - Experimental Category at the 2017 Richmond International Film Festival (Richmond, Virginia, United States).
