Joel Kaye (BF '10) - Book Prize
Joel Kaye (BF 2010) received the 2015 Jacques Barzun Prize in Cultural History, awarded by The American Philosophical Society, for his book A History of Balance, 1250-1375: The Emergence of a New Model of Equilibrium and Its Impact on Thought (Cambridge University Press, 2014). He worked on chapters of this book while a fellow at Bogliasco in the spring of 2010, and he remains grateful for his time there.
